Hey!! Just wanted to say these exercises with harmony have really been helpful, I have definitely seen improvement! But I do have a question. Whenever I download the exercises in iNotes it seems I must have good internet connection to use it. If I don’t, it says ‘no file to preview’. If they are downloaded, shouldn’t it it be able to work without internet?

Hmm, let me see if I can help, Emily! Help me understand the situation—you’re on your phone, and you’re trying to download the Exercise Audio files? Or the lesson notes? Sometimes your phone has different settings if on a wifi network vs cell network, to protect you from accidentally incurring a lot of data usage over cellular network. Is that maybe the case? The other factor is that phones tend to discard previously downloaded (cached) media quickly, so even if you accessed the file successfully one day, the next day or even shortly after, your phone might have to re-download it.

We’re exploring changes we can make to the site so that you can easily save exercises and notes for easy offline access, but that’s a little ways away. For now, the best option is to save audio files to your computer and sync them to your phone via your music management software (iTunes, Google Play, etc.), and then save lesson notes to an app that allows offline document storage (Apple’s new Files app does that now, and lots of other tools like Dropbox, Evernote, Notes tools, etc.)

  Yes, that does help! I realized I have data turned off for notes, and that is why the exercises wouldn’t load, unless I was on wifi. But I think I will try your suggestion to download the exercises to the computer and sync them to my phone. That sounds like a better plan. Thank you very much!
