This question has been lingering in the back of my mind for a while now. There is this constant fear in me that I am not good enough and have to step back for a fellow vocalist who are much more confident, better sounding and able to reach higher notes.
Charmaine mentioned to yield to the Lord daily. So for me, that means daily reminding yourself not to be prideful, keep practicing, don’t give up and do not give in to bad habits that is bad for your voice. Don’t get distracted from giving your all for his glory. Jesus died for you, He is saying you are good enough. Yes, strive for being better vocally during practice and rehearsals. Be patient. Don’t get discouraged. But remember to surrender every day.
